The International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI) maintains this database of candidates for preventive AIDS vaccines tested in humans.

The database includes preventive vaccines only—those intended for individuals who are not infected with HIV, for the purpose of preventing HIV infection or disease. Trials evaluating therapeutic effects of HIV vaccines in already infected people are not included here.

The database includes vaccines and trials produced and conducted around the world and is updated as new information becomes available. If you would like to supplement or correct information for a trial or vaccine you are involved with (as an investigator) or if you notice omissions errors, we would greatly appreciate hearing from you.
